A number of enterprises operating in the field of transportation and delivery of food products have passed food safety registration

Guided by the relevant legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan on food safety and in order to ensure the food safety of the population, food safety registration of business entities that carry out the primary production, production, processing, circulation, disposal, transportation and other activities of food products at all stages of the food chain in the country the process is continued.

"Bolt Services AZ" LLC, "Ozio" LLC, "Indi Market" LLC and "Bazarstore" LLC, engaged in food products transportation and delivery, applied to the Agency for food safety registration. Based on the application, the companies whose names are mentioned in this field of activity were registered accordingly. The Agency will provide methodical support to the registered enterprises related to ensuring food safety, ensure the phased implementation of the relevant requirements and help in adapting the activity to the food safety requirements. Also, within the framework of mutual cooperation, relevant trainings will be started for the employees of these companies registered by the Azerbaijan Food Safety Institute free of charge.

It should be noted that entrepreneurs operating in all stages of the food chain, including the transportation and delivery of food products, must comply with the requirements arising from the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Food Safety", including the requirements for registration. It is reported that the activity of business entities operating in the field of food without registration is prohibited by legislation.

It should also be noted that the process of receiving applications for food safety registration by the Agency has been electronicized. Entrepreneurs who want to undergo food safety registration through the electronic system can apply for online registration by visiting the official website of AQTA (www.afsa.gov.az). No state fee is required for registration.
