A meeting was held at the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan with the delegation headed by Chancellor of Rifah International University (RIU) Hasan Muhammad Khan.
Welcoming the guests, Minister of Health Teymur Musayev emphasized that the cooperation between the two brotherly countries in all fields is exemplary. Touching on issues of cooperation in the field of health policy and public health, Teymur Musayev noted that mutual activity in this direction is carried out at the international level - in the framework of the cooperation of the ministers of health of the World Health Organization, the Organization of Economic Cooperation and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Non-Aligned Movement: "Bilateral relations are also in the field of education. is developing dynamically and all necessary conditions have been created in Azerbaijan for Pakistani students to receive higher medical education.
Teymur Musayev also noted that Azerbaijan Medical University actively cooperates with Rifah International University of Pakistan. According to him, in October of this year, an international conference on Medical Education, which unites experts from different countries of the world on a single platform, will be held in Baku under the joint organization of two universities.
At the end of his speech, the Minister of Health of Azerbaijan expressed his confidence that the cooperation will be further developed in the future.
In his turn, Hasan Mohammad Khan emphasized that Azerbaijan is a country with a special place in the hearts of Pakistani people. Rector of RIU stated that there are close cooperation relations between our countries in the field of healthcare.

Hassan Mohammad Khan noted that the first international conference on medical education (ICME) was held in 2009 in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan: "The main goal of the ICME conference is to bring together experts and scientists on medical education to discuss the latest innovations in this field, is to exchange experience and create an international platform in this field.
The prospects of developing and strengthening cooperation in the field of healthcare and medical science were also discussed at the meeting.
